Here's a mathematical problem for you:
If a flight leaves Paris at 11.15PM on say the 15th of Mocktober (Paris time), arrives Singapore 12 and a half hours later at 5.45PM the next day - 16th of Mocktober (Singapore time)
and then leaves the Singapore stop over at 9.40PM (same day, Singapore time) and takes 8 hours, 20 minutes to get to Sydney;
then what time does it arrive (in local time)?
A few hints:
- Paris is 8 hours behind our time.
- Singapore is 2 hours behind our time.
- Shane at the web-travel agency customer service centre is/thinks-I-am a fool.
Possible answers:
Arrives Sydney 8am local time 16th of Mocktober
or
Arrives Sydney 8am local time 17th of Mocktober
Sincerely spitting chips,
Agnes Stone.
